Connecting and supporting our community

Community & Service Learning

Our Service-Learning program is a key part of how we bring our school’s core values to life—Connect, Care, Create, and Contribute—through meaningful community engagement.

Connect
We build long-term partnerships with community organizations based on mutual respect and integrity. These relationships create rich opportunities for students to engage with the world beyond the classroom and develop a deeper understanding of their role in society.

Care
Service-Learning nurtures empathy, gratitude, and a genuine concern for the needs of others. Students approach each project with a mindset of reciprocity—giving and learning alongside the communities they serve.

Create
With courage, creativity, and passion, students develop innovative responses to real-world challenges. Each project is an opportunity to think critically, solve problems, and imagine new possibilities for improving their communities.

Contribute
We believe in the power of young people to make a difference. Through purposeful action, students contribute meaningfully to their communities—celebrating generosity, collaboration, and the shared goal of creating a better world.

Each Service-Learning project is grounded in classroom learning and guided by a structured process: students identify a community need, investigate the issue, prepare and take action, reflect on their experiences, and celebrate their impact. Our diverse network of community partners—ranging from local schools and senior homes to national and international foundations—serves as co-educators in this journey.

Through Service-Learning, our students grow as compassionate leaders, engaged citizens, and thoughtful problem-solvers—ready to make a positive impact now and in the future.
